Tara was born June 10, 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania into a family of a rich oil executive/lawyer and a secretary. Training since an early age, Lipinski made it to the very top in the world of figure skating. She won the gold on the Olympic Games in Nagano in 1998.
