Rachel Peters is a Filipino-British model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2017. She represented her country (Philippines) at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, where she finished in the top 10. Born Rachel Louise Peters on October 20, 1991 in Manama, Bahrain, to parents Annie Obregon and Nigel Peters, her mother is Filipino while her father is British. She has one younger brother, Daniel Peters. She graduated with an International Baccalaureate degree from the British International School, Phuket in Thailand, and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business, tourism, and events from La Trobe University. Peters started her pageantry stint at the 2014 Miss World Philippines contest placing in the Top 4. She has been in a relationship with Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Luis “Migz” Villafuerte.
