They became engaged in 2004 and married in 2010. Fisher spent three years studying Judaism in order to convert to her husband’s faith, and they had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony. Upon completing her conversion, she took the Jewish name Ayala, the Hebrew word for “doe.” She has stated that she observes the Jewish Sabbath.
