Deborah Norville is an American journalist, talk show host and author, best known as the longtime host of the nationally syndicated television newsmagazine Inside Edition. She is a University of Georgia graduate with a degree in journalism. She previously worked as an anchor and correspondent for CBS News and earlier co-host of Today on NBC. Aside from her television career, she has published a number of books. Her book “Thank You Power: Making the Science of Gratitude Work For You” was a New York Times best-seller. She was born Deborah Anne Norville on August 8, 1958 in Dalton, Georgia, U.S. to Merle O. Norville and Zachary Samuel Norville. She has three sisters. Since 1987, she has been married to Karl Wellner, with whom she has three children.
