Chulakshi Ranathunga is a Sri Lankan model, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Sri Lanka 2014. She represented her country (Sri Lanka) at the Miss World 2014 pageant held on 14 December 2014 at the ExCeL London. She made her acting debut in the 2017 film Dedunu Akase. Born Chulakshi Saubhaya Ranathunga on February 11, 1989 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, she was raised in Nittambuwa. She was educated at Maliyadeva Girls’ College.
